Alfa Romero Fly wheel Flat as a pancake after personally rebuilding this machine to exceed OEM specification's for flatness. Be assured that Flat means Flat, just as the Ford fly wheel pictured below.

Very Flat ! Ground with the right abrasive wheel not a diamond wheel as a diamond wheel cannot achieve this pattern and non directional flat finish. Disc brake rotors can also be ground with same finish.

Smooth runner as crank is spun in normal direction of rotation un-like other machine's that might spin in the other direction- counter weights know which way they are spinning and centrifugal forces can possibly work different in either direction of the mass rotation ?
